245 China Marker

I like calligraphy done with a writing implement that is not designed for the task.   The grease pencil is designed to stick to perfectly smooth surfaces, the source of its name China Marker.  It's softer than a child's crayon, and also more intensely pigmented.  Here it is used on regular copier paper.
Marcel Duchamp says "tools that are no good require more skill."  I truly believe the wrong tool for the job has a lot to teach.
